You raise some interesting questions. Re this MS point:
Why don't we convert those apps over to MS solutions - which is now ".Net"?
Have you seen that happen in any effective way at a reasonable cost? I must admit, I haven't, despite the constant MS hype about moving to .Net or whatever else.
Anyway, moving back to email, doesn't anyone think that Lotus have done a pretty decent job in R6 of keeping up with the
key features required of email?
I've used all kinds of email apps (Eudora, mail.app on my Mac at home (current), Outlook, Pro-Mail, a command line mail app in UN*X, etc., etc.) over the years, and still have no big objections to Notes mail.
